Guy Machinery teamed up with Guy Contractors to carry out a slurry injection demonstration in
association with FWAG (Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group), as part of a Profiting from Nutrient & Manure Management
workshop. The event was hosted by JC Marshall of Monk Ing Farm at Dacre and was well attended by farmers from the
Nidderdale area.
After 1st cut silage, half of the field was injected and the other half was surface spread. The photos, taken four weeks after
application, show a comparison from the two techniques.
