new generation valtra n AND t series
Valtra N & T Versu brochure (Adobe Reader download) Valtra is expanding the N and T Series with Direct models featuring a continuously variable transmission and Versu models featuring a multi-step powershift transmission. Designed and manufactured in-house by Valtra, the new transmissions have been designed around tried and tested Valtra components such as the rear axle and shuttle. Valtra’s Versu and Direct models are extremely simple to use. There is no gear lever in the already spacious cab. The stepless transmission is controlled by a lever on the armrest. Powershift steps on the five-speed transmission are shifted using three buttons ergonomically situated on the driver’s armrest. With the stepless transmission, the driver selects the gear range using a lever, the speed using the throttle pedal and the direction using the forward/reverse shuttle, operated with his or her left arm. Driving a tractor does not get any easier. Both new models are available with ground speed PTO, which opens up new opportunities for forest, peat, limestone and transport contractors. The Versu model also offers creeper speeds as standard. A 50-km/h transmission and fuel-conserving EcoSpeed function are naturally also available. More power and especially torque The new tractors come with load-sensing hydraulics as standard. The standard output is 115 l/min, but a 151 l/min pump is available for demanding implement combinations. The hydraulic and transmission oils are separate. Heat exchange occurs between the two oils, allowing the transmission oil to heat up the cold hydraulic oil, which in turn cools the hot transmission oil during road transport. Heavy-duty linkages and an industrial front axle with brakes are available for demanding tasks. The HD linkages have a lifting capacity of 85 kN and are available on T182 and T202 models. The industrial front axle can be specified on both the N and T Series, and on the T Series it features optionally two brake discs per side. The T Series is available with either a 50 kN or 35kN liftable front linkage. Either linkage can be fitted together with Aires front axle suspension, and the 35kN linkage can also be fitted together with a front loader. When using a front loader, a hydraulics assistant automatically increases rpm to help loading work in Direct models. Enhanced driving comfort for long days An even wider range of tractors
